Two random observations about running.
The first comes from this past weekend's trip to DC. I got up in the morning for a run before heading to my conference. Unfortunately, I could not coax myself up early enough to get in any more than 2 miles. After the day's festivities and before the night banquet, I thought to myself, "I gotta run some more." So I laced up again and ran down to the Mall to say hi to Abe Lincoln at his memorial. 5 more made 7 for the day, and I felt much better.
The second comes from running into one of the dermatology residents yesterday who observed, "you're that cardiology fellow that runs all the time aren't you."
Is it that obvious, or am I just 'that guy'?
