After three days where I had to walk because I just couldn't handle any running, I've been doing 4-5 miles a day for the last 5 days. I figure that if I keep that up and manage a 13 miler this weekend I can get just about 40 miles. Then, of course, it time to start "tapering" again for Disney on Jan 10. Feeling pretty strong but it has been a little chilly.
On another note: Santa (actually my brother in law) got me an MP3 copy of the novel "Once A Runner" which is widely described as the best running novel of all time. In fact, another book I got "The Runner's Rule Book" has a rule which references "Once A Runner" as a book you must read and must enjoy. Look for reviews of both of these soon.
