It's been a long week on the cardiology teaching service, so I have not had much to say about my running. It's pretty much just been a 2-mile-a-morning kind of week, although I did have a 4.3 miler out-and-back post-call on Tuesday that felt pretty good. I've just been so tired that I am glad that the streak is still going. Besides, I have not yet begun real training. Overall, the knee continues to feel a little "different", but I can't say that it hurts.
This past Saturday when I was rounding at the hospital, I got a 7.5 mile bike ride to and from (total 15 mi) in, which was a nice change of pace, in addition to a 6 mile run on Sunday.
I've been listening to Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in preparation for the movie to be released this summer and am thoroughly enjoying the book again. I am even finding myself choosing to listen to the book instead of my usual podcasts in the car.
4/29-5/1: 2 miles in AM
4/28: 4.3 post-call
4/27: 2 miles before on call
4/26: 6 mile run
4/25: 15 mile bike ride and 1 mi run
4/23&24: 2 miles in AM
