Running in Houston 2

Went out for an additional 6 miles yesterday in the Buffalo Bayou and started off heading west/south and had a much nicer time of the run. The trail still goes under a few bridges but soon breaks out into fields and streams of Texas filled with runners, cyclists, walkers, and people with their dogs. I was intrigued by the guy out for a stroll with his wife while he busily puffed away at a cigarette.

The trail itself is some pavement, some silty dirt, some concrete, and some areas with packed grass alongside the harder pavement. Aside from a few areas where the trail surface had become cracked and uneven, it was much nicer than my Friday run.
